The Beneluxa Initiative is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Michal Stanak as its first General Manager.
In this newly established role, the General Manager will support the ongoing operations of the initiative, work in close collaboration with the Domain Task Forces and the Policy Working Group, and assist the Steering Committee in preparing and implementing strategic decisions for the future development of the collaboration.
Dr. Michal Stanak is a health policy researcher with extensive expertise in health technology assessment, bioethics, and the role of behavioural sciences in healthcare. He has held senior positions in the Slovak health system, serving as Founding Director of the National Institute for Value and Technologies in Healthcare as well as Director of the HTA Department at the Slovak Ministry of Health. In addition, he has worked as a researcher at the Austrian Institute for Health Technology Assessment (AiHTA).
The Beneluxa Initiative welcomes Dr. Stanak in this important new capacity and looks forward to his contribution to strengthening and advancing the collaboration.
